Wings has a problem with lag when you are workign models in excess of 15K polygons or so. The end of a project for me in wings is the worst part. This is because it is written in Erlang and not C. I like Silo a lot too. Hexagon from what I know I like but it has the one thing I really dislike in an interface. Icons. Text is best for me. Words like extrude etc.
