Take a look at Inkulator/Ink9000. It may not be what you're looking for on this project, since it does mainly outlines, but you might find it useful for something else."Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance." - H. L. Mencken
Olivier in RDNA is working on an artistic-thingy-render-somethingy, I am anxious for it's release!
still hooked to real life and enjoying the siesta!

I've been playing a little with the Sketch renderer in P6, trying different presets and tweaking various values. I'm looking at using P6 for a web-comic and would like a hand-drawn look, i.e. outlines with posterized fills. However, I have been unable to achieve this with either the sketch renderer or the "Toon Render" in the material room. I definitely get a NPR style, but it just looks badly drawn or badly Photoshopped. Has anyone achieved a good hand-drawn look with these, and was it done with minimal hand-holding? I ask because throughput will be key for this project -- anything that requires too much tweaking or custom postwork each time is just too much effort for the effect. If you've achieved such effect, could you post/link-to a sample and some notes on how you did it? If you've tried and failed, could you tell me that it's not just me? danamongden
