Bugs-Well, I've found a couple of weird bugs, involving older characters. One of my critters uses the Poser 2 base figure, and on loading (mac os 9, and 9.1) poser alerts me, saying the figure rez file is no longer supported. Happened with the old skeleton as well. Also, on a poser 2 or 3 based figure, turning off the genitals removes the whole hip. Otherwise, man, I like the flash export but would am now crying for better camera controls- suggestion for future versions would include a tracking function (ala the face camera) and or a numeric input to control its xyz functions in space. Questions for the setup room include- If I have a hip prop, with properly named geometry parented to it, why am I only getting that hip in the setup room? General- What happened to the community section of your website? I've lost some semi vital links with it gone. Over all, I think y'all could have released this as an upgrade called Poser 4.5 and I do recommend it, if nothing else for the flash export.

Please email tech@curiouslabs.com with any suspected bugs/other issues. You may also contact Steve Yatson, Poser Product Manager, at yaton@curiouslabs.com directly. This is the fastest way to resolve issues. Thanks! :-) Anthony Hernandez Senior Technical Writer Curious Labs

Anthony, When does CuriousLabs expect to fix all the "known" bugs that it was realeased with? I realize we all hounded you guys, begging you to get it out, but please admit that there are known bugs that it was realeased with and when they will be fixed. At that time you will earn my trust enough to update to Poser 5.0, not before. I'm disappointed in your company when I see you telling people to email bug reports to CL knowing that these same problems are well-known to your beta testers and CL. Just admit it and lets move on with the fixes. Marque

Marque, I forward these things to engineers and QA at CL, and I know that they also check the forums. I am not in a position to say "X is a bug, Y is not", nor do I know when patches will be released. So, I completely understand your position, and do not want to exacerbate it by making any kinds of promises to you unless I am certain that we will deliver. We are working on a patch now, and will release it as soon as possible. :-) Anthony
