Subject: How do you create a Shore Line around water?

with Vue infinite you can make amaterial that creates shorelines otherwise, good ways to do it are to make a TERRAIN! How to do it for precision render your scene from the TOP camera looking directly down. ZOom into the area where oyur shore will be. You don't need whole image jsut where the shore must be. Just a render with normal lights etc, fast, you want fine edge detialign don't need colour etc. save picture. open picture in paint package. what you want ot do is make a GREY scale image, black to white, of where your shoreline will be. so, make a selection to enclose your SHORE, then paint in it, , blur/paint to get nice gradiant, waves if want..apply this grey scalee image to a terrian, added to your scene with suitable material. basiclaly you want a terrain that's only a thin rim around your shore/rocks ;)
