I splurged and bought Real World Bryce 4 today!!!! It won't come in the mail for for a week or so though.. Dang, this book is the single most expensive book in my PC library (I have over a dozen Perl, CGI and MySQL books) so it better be worth it :) Happy late birthday to me since it won't be here until a few days late, but oh well! Can't wait to get it!! hehehe

Worth every penney and more! Take it easy when you first start to read it, it can be overwhelming.....

yeah, the learning curve is something like... one step then free fall.. but you'll get the hang of it :)

I too have splurged.......just hope they have it in stock as they say its temp out of stock or i will have to wait a long time! :(

If you want, I can give you the link to where I bought it. It's only like 38$ brand new where I bought it online and 5$ish for shipping. I used UPS shipping option so my total was just over $41. It's from www.ecampus.com!

I got my copy from Susan Kitchens (while at Bryce Camp) and have dog earred it to death. It is simply the best Bryce book ... period.

Could be worse, could be raining.

You dogear your books?!? I am so strict and careful with my books that I don't crease the pages, the binding or write in them ANYWHERE. I even wash my hands before reading them. The books are put into dresser drawers so they don't collect dust. If I have to transport the books, I wrap each of them in cloth to prevent scuffing and from dirt getting on them. I can't stand having books that aren't in mint condition where if I accidently drop the book and the covers get bent, I'll throw the book away and if the book was good enough, get a new copy of it.

Mine's post-it noted to death, first day I got it, it fell of the desk, landed on the floor, broke the spine, I just hotglued it back together. My books are like old friends, alittle dogeared, caressed, and read alot.
