I have big project to do and I am not sure how I am going to complete it. In the past, I have used Poser 3 because it was easy to export to Truespace, even though I had Poser 5 - but now comes a time where I must include 1 - nudes 2 - clothing changes I grabbed the luvv and another converter by Ricardo Kawecki called Truespace converter, so now I can export texture into TS, but I am really stuck at the how I am going to complete this task. Here is my 1st challenge 1- I am having a hard time putting the hair on Poser 5 people. I am using Poser 4 hair and yet in the main camera window, it is not in the right place - farther down on the figure (around neck level). 2- Is there a way I can export just the props (clothing etc). I need to make a store where the poser models are looking at the clothing they need to be wearing. 3- The women are going to be wearing skimpy outfits, so I don't know if I should use Poser 4 figures or stick with the Poser 5 (Judy) instead? Any help would be appreciated!

Also, a tip on how to put clothing p5 clothing on the p4 figures would be great as well! Thanks so much.

You could make the poser people looking in a store with tailor dummies in it and use clothed figures for the dummies. The poser 4 hair probably wasn`t made for the figure you are applying it to, but to fix it all you need to do is move it up using the trans y dial and maybe move it forward or back a small amount using trans z. If you download the demo of wardrobe wizard it can convert the poser 5 clothing on the poser 4 figures it is available at www.philc.net

Thanks for the reply. I dl'ed the file, but I have never used Scripts in Poser before - how do I run it? Also, I have been dl'ed new clothing for Poser but the strangest thing happens - when I put the items in their perspective directory, I get them sometime in the Pose directory instead? Like the ones I got from Deviant Designs - jean textures, they don't come up as clothing!

I am starting to get the hang of 'Clothing- Conforming' library. Is there a way to put any of the free download clothing into that category? This seems a simple and quick way to do what I need to be done. The clothing fits the p4 figures perfectly! Any help on this?

If you extract the files to your poser 5 directory they will go into the right place. That includes the conforming clothing files. Extract the wardrobe wizard into the poser 5 directory, too. The readme with it will tell you what to do. The deviant designs jeans textures are textures for jeans, not the actual jeans. The poses for these are probably mat poses. So they will be no use unless you have the jeans already. I would advise you to go to e-frontier and download the poser 4 manual from there. It is in downloads updates and documentation. It tells you much more of the poser basics than the poser 5 manual does.

Be careful when you unzip files. Many will put things in the right directory for you, but some won't. Preview the .zip before you extract it. I'm sure there are instructions on the website for the Wardrobe Wizard Demo that tell you how to run a Python script. The basics are this: When you click on 'File', the pull-down menu has an option for 'Run Python Script.' Click that, and then you have to tell it where to find the script you want to run. On that same 'File' menu, there is an export option. If you need to export something, choose 'Export.' Then you choose an export format. After you choose the format, the hierarchy editor will appear and you can choose the specific props you want to export.
