Talking of Frames..... I wrote a small tutorial for Frames in PSP 7 which I use primarily. Ever made a Frame in PSP that you wanted to save to your Frames folder so that the next time you do not have to go through a long procedure??? Well, I feel that way all the time since I am mostly working with photos. It is very simple to make a frame and save it to your Frames folder. I shall try my best to explain it in few lines without any Screen Prints etc., Step1. Open an image1 of any dimention and make your desired frame around it. Step2. Open a New Transparent image of the same Dimension as your Framed image. Step 3. Use the selection Tool (Rectangular) and select out the original image from the Framed Image........ Invert Selection......... Now you have only the frame in your Selection. Step4. Copy it and paste it on top of the transparent image as new transparent layer. Step5. Select None. Step6. Layers........ Merge visible. ( You will have a transparent centre framed by the frame you have made.) Step7. Color...... Decrease Colors........ 32 bits or 16 bits as is suitable. Step8. Save as........... Browse to the Frames Folder and where it says File name... Type a File name with the File Extention .pfr. For example if you want to name the frame as Flower. Type the File name as Flower.pfr. In the file type....... make sure to select the following file type as it may appear in psp . Paint Shop Pro Image (psp,.jsl,.pfr.tub). NOTE: MAKE SURE TO ADD THE FILE EXTENTION TO THE FILE NAME WHILE SAVE IT TO THE FRAMES FOLDER OR ELSE IT WILL SAVE AS DEFAULT PSP IMAGE AND IT WON'T SHOW UP IN FRAMES. Close your PSP now and then reopen it. Open an image.... Go to Image....Picture Frame...... and apart from the other default frames in there you will notice your Frame too with the name you have given it. I hope this mini tut was worth something. THANK YOU!! :O)) SNAKEY
