Odd Ditty Foundry's Biomes series provides some wonderful ready made sets that are slowly growing, and there's also the incredible MicroCosm system at www.Runtimedna.com. Those, combined with plants from ODF and RDNA, will pretty much let you create just about any sort of outdoor setting you could wish for. There's a full forest coming soon, too, I hear.
