"Normal Priority" is, well...normal. Am I correct in assuming, that it sounds like from what you are describing...you are setting Bryce to "BelowNormal" or "Low" as you "work with several applications at the same time"? *Resetting a programs priority will stay that way, only if you MINIMIZE the Taskmanager, don't close its window.
