I find that all my Bryce skills, Ray Dream skills, and Lightwave skills barely prepared me for what Maya has to offer... Which is simply the most potent and powerful set of 3D graphics tools available. Now entire DAYS go by where I don't even open up Bryce, and I haven't touched Poser for weeks...! But, that said, I still do all my modeling in Rhino. Sure, you could program Maya to do everything Rhino can do, but since I already KNOW Rhino, and it already works wonders, I don't know how long it's gonna be until I switch to Maya completely. Perhaps whenever I need poly or Sub-D tools... Good to see some artists moving forward, though! Keep at it Scoleman... Good stuff.
