The most successful people are those that can focus on one thing. And take that thing to its limit. Be confident in your achievements. DO NOT seek approval through others, for you will always encounter dissapointment. Being a father myself, I always focus on my childrens' inadequacies, because they reflect the inadequacy in myself. And I only want the best for my kids. Its a parent thing. Don't take your father too seriously. Ultimately, he wants you to be happy. The next time he criticizes you, just tell him: Dad, Brycing makes me happy. Would you rather I be happy or melancholy. Bryce is a low end tool. Eventually, you will move onto more professional tools. If you're good and show talent, those tools will lead to a career. Example: I started making resum in PageMaker for fellow students. My first attempts sucked, but I very quickly became very good. Soon, students were offering me $35 per resum My degree is in Film Studies with a Minor in English Lit. But my first job was designing slides for speaker support in PageMaker. I then went into advertising using Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator as a Graphic Designer. If you model, and become good, you could start selling your models here at 'rosity. Then when the first paycheck comes in, show it to your Dad. Hang in there, and follow your passion. Be confident that there is a future in what you're doing. And even later in life, if you drop this hobby entirely, the experiences you've learned will serve you in other things. Take it from me, I've been a Soldier, a Teacher, a Carpenter and now a Graphic Designer. I use my experiences in all those fields daily. No skills go to waste. Follow your passion.
