Fo3, I graduated high school in '86, landed a great paying job that I really had no interest in (and because I felt like my folks WANTED me to be doing this, i.e. the stable office job thing), skipped college cause of the paycheck I was already getting, and spent the next 10 years slaving away during the day and spending all my free time at bars drinking. Around the age of 30 I realized I had wasted a good portion of the last 10 years. Made a career change to a passion I'd always had and became an entry level graphic designer, taking a major paycut but was extremely happy with life. I came to Bryce, Poser and others later in life, and my only regret is that I didn't get into this a heck of a lot sooner. Fo3, your stuff rocks, stick with it. Your Dad will come around. My Mom wanted nothing more for me to get into that good paying office job, but even she says she sees how much happier I am doing what I love. I'm sure your Dad will feel the same way given time.
