I think it is awful to do that to a sacred historical place such as this. Tedz wrote about something similar with the Maori people and how they were able to take back the land and keep outsiders away. I don't know if that is possible in this case, but I do want you to know that when I visited this place, it was with a sense of reverence and a willingness to learn about its history. I am against the "Disneyfication" of places like this and am quite suprised to learn that the tikis here are a modern convention put there for the tourists sake. It is so hard to tell what is real and what is show these days. Thanks for sharing that sharky .
