Tas - Tiger, An obscure reference to an extinct???? animal from my State of origin. The Thylacine, also known as the Tasmanian Tiger (Because of it's striped back) or the Marsupial Wolf....Sort of like a dog but with a pouch - they were hunted to extinction in the early part of the 20th Century. Although there have been reports of sightings the last known member of this species died in 1934 at the Hobart zoo.
