If your poses are applying and removing textures and materials, it's best not to name them INJ and REM - those terms are used for poses which load or unload morphs on figures like V3 and M3. People might be confused by applying an INJ which didn't change their character's shape. Most MAT pose sets I've seen don't bother with an "all white" MAT, although it can be useful occasionally. You would generally just apply a new MAT to the item - although you need to take care that everything necessary has been reset. For instance, you should explicitly set transparency off in MATs which don't use it, in case your MAT is replacing one that had transparency on.
