Hi Bez, sorry for the delay, but i have not been able to make a connection long enough to NOT have it "time-out" on me!!!

i wrote this right after you posted the other day, and as i've lost "wordy" post in the past, i saved it to a text file first..
so here's the first part:

you can make an "action" that will handle it for you. think of "actions" and a tape recording of steps you perform to do something (in your case converting a file format...) that is repeated.

first thing: you'll want to do is open one of the images you need converted (.psd)

second: select the "action" tab and click on the "Create New Action" icon

third: name your action something like "Save as JPG" (you can also put the new action into a specific area/directory like "Default Actions" so you can keep organized. give it a hot key if you want too...)

fourth: click the "Start Recording" icon and just do what you'd normally do to save the file as a JPG. (FILE --> SAVE AS --> FORMAT --> JPG - set your options as you want...)

next: click the "Stop Recording" icon and your action is all made!!!! it should now be listed in your Action list

NEXT INSTALLMENT "Making a Batch"

hope this helps
:)
