well thanks bonnie, suz, and sans...i discovered how to do it with everyones help...posted my first image with .gif thumb tonight...kinda a pain to have to make two ,but oh well...i used image size (i have ps cs) checked constraints and re-sample...then put in 200 pixels at the top(THANKS SUZ)...ps does all the rest... the little image pops up ...then save to web...used the top right as suz suggested...the jpgs were too big so played with gifs # of colors and or 32 vs 64 dithered and got all my thumbs down to less than 15k...saved to my upload file then when ps asks if i wanted to save the .jpeg changes i just checked no and dang if it didnt work.... bob
