Hey Jonathan! Welcome to the forum! Since you stated that you are new to photography, the first thing is to get to know your camera! With 4000 shots...sounds like you're well on your way! Most digicams has MODES for specific kinds of shooting! You should experiment with these and see how each affect your shots! One of this MODES is geared more towards landscape, so you may want to give this one a try! Another thing is SHARE you photos...here and in the gallery!
