GRRRRR!!! this has taken me days of trying to post (actually it's not the site but just trying to keep the connection from dropping!!!!) well here goes:

Hey Bez, hopefully this will make it through...

You can "automate" any action and make what we call a "droplet" so you could just drag a folder over it and have it run the process (action). but for know i'll just show you the "automate/batch" method.

First: launch Photoshop and go to FILE --> AUTOMATE --> BATCH to open the dialog window

Second: select the action (SAVE AS JPG) from the drop-down menu

Third: click the "Choose" button to locate the folder containing the PSD files you want converted to JPG.

Fourth: choose the destination method (SAVE AND CLOSE, or choose another folder to store the converted files...)

Fifth: click OK button to run through all the files in the folder.


let me know if you have any problems. sometimes when saving to JPG, the "settings" dialog window pops up and pauses the batch on each file so you may need to tweek a setting or two
