Subject: Siggraph 2005 - Day 0 pictures

Siggraph 2005 officially starts tomorrow yet for a couple hours tonight they were open for early registration, so away I went down the the Los Angeles Convention Center to suck up the dust from the still under construction Exhibition area.

Right in the front entrance...a FULL sized T-65 X-Wing Starfighter!!! This sucker weighs 5,000 lbs! It is owned by Lucasfilm, Ltd., and is on loan from the Wings Over the Rockies Museum in Denver, Colorado. (I'm quite sure this has to do with George Lucas giving the keynote address on Aug. 1st...more on that later) It's amazing to see this thing up close, its massive! More pics and notes to come as the days go on here at Siggraph 2005. If anyone else has pics, please post'em up....(agiel...lol) AgentSmith

It's safer to spay-paint that on in Photoshop, lol. But place your bets...before Siggraph is over, I'm guessing security pulls an overzealous star wars fan or two off of it... ...at least my camera hopes so. AS
