Right, I have seen all the same complaints with version 3, 4 and 5....and I would admit you would think E-on would have learnt a lesson...but now things have changed. Now they are wanting to attract the "big" guys (I mean studios etc). If they let those guys down with buggy software then they will fall from a large height with a big crash. I agree Sharon that it's not unusual to have buggy software, but E-on have raised the bar with who they want to attract and how much they charge. I know that Cinema 4D, Max, Xfrog, Photoshop, Lightwave, Maya etc don't have such usability issues....and with their own press statements they are putting themselves in the same league as those guys. Now, I love Vue and even done publicity material for them, but unless I know that a software is reliable enough to do what I expect of it I won't rely on it...the reason I still use version 4 ;) I hope so much E-on make a success of it, but the way they carry out their beta program is suspect and I feel unless they really think hard about their process of testing and releasing software, then things won't change. I'm sorry people but if there was such a bug in software I am beta testing, then I wouldn't expect a fix for at least a month...just so they could be sure it had been fully tested. Rushing out fixes usually just means there may be another bug missed as a consequence of the work to fix the main problem. I so hope they work and fix things because I so want to trust it enough to purchase it. Cheers
