I think this is a good idea. So many people seem to want to get started in modeling, and I think Carrara is a good way. Everyone has their own opinions about modelers, but I think Carrara is a good choice. It has a lot of features but is not super-expensive, and its interface is a relatively easy transition for Poser users. It also does morphs of Poser models without many hitches.

Like you, I use Carrara 3 and Poser 6. So maybe I could learn a thing or two!
