I think dialyn has a good point there about that being the difference between professional and amateur. In fact, I'm not so sure what I'd think of writing if I were a professional. Then it becomes your job and as most jobs tend to do, it takes a bit of the fun out of the process. Sometimes you just don't feel like writing. I know that inspiration hits me very randomly and spontaneous as well. Sometimes I just have to be in the mood to write. Sometimes writing puts me in the mood to write more. Ah what a fickle love the muse goddess of writing is.
