Stef, Interestingly enough, I spent the night at a bookstore, looking at pictures of the Alien, reading books featuring the work of H.R. Giger, the artist who created the Alien...I have always, always loved his work...you can view a piece of my own work dedicated to him, at his site: www.giger.com go to the "BioMechanoid" page, click on fan art, and I think Im on page 9. What a shameless plug that was, seriously though, his work is amazing....just amazing. I couldn't agree more. And also prefer sci fi to serial murder. I watched the movie "The Cell" strictly because I wanted to see the art, which was fantastic btw, and I had to hold a blanket over my head and sing to myself during the murder stuff. I am very deeply affected by things of this nature and violence in general. As far as movies repeating themselves upon the human mind, anything of this nature acts like a trigger, since the desensitization of violence in media, that started in the sixties. Well, we could very well write a script and screenplay for what I saw, but I don't think I'd be good at the gory parts! Yours, Syyd
