For printing, use 300 dpi. 8 inches by 10 inches would then be 2400X3000 pixels. So you set the render in Poser (or other 3D software) at 2400X3000 pixels if you want to print the render at 8X10 inches. You can try even higher dpi, but the improvement will be negligible or even undetectable.
