I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their input. I've decided to go with Thunderbird for email, since I already love Firefox. I also found a little program that will sit in my task bar and check all my email accounts for me.. it's really nice, even checks hotmail. if anyone is interested, I've attached the link. it's $5
