I suppose that you could use any morph to be controlled by mimic as long as it is named correctly?

True. OpenLips usually produces some nice results, though.

Of course, one can configure Mimics 2-3 to use different morphs or channels altogether, even on different body parts. But I like to use the old guidelines established by Mimic 1 when developing new figures, since they'll work with the default settings, and for people who haven't upgraded their copies of Mimic.

Next question, How do I add that extra bit to the B9?

You must create the extra mesh pieces in a modeling application or something ... it might be possible to create the pieces with Poser's grouping tool alone by spawning new props off B9's grille section and then moving them into position.

But you'll need to give the glowing bit a different material, and resave this modified version of the B9 mesh with the new bits assigned to the chest group (or Main group, or whatever it's called on that figure). Then you could use Poser's magnets to create morphs for Mimic.
