How large is your scene? How many models, props, etc? What does your Mat Room setup look like for all of the items in the scene? Also, what are your render settings pushed to? If you are heavy on models, and you render at the top end, your computer will probably lock if it has the name Cray on the side. ;-) Look at your render settings. If you are using the Manual Settings, uncheck texture filtering. This causes a lot of lag, and only tries to prevent large areas from getting that boxed look. Increase your bucket size to whatever the system can handle. (I suggest closing all open apps besides Poser, then making the bucket just less than what you need for running the OS. On Win2k, if you have 1GB RAM, I would suggest a bucket of 640. This is what I am running now, and it has worked for me.) If nothing else, render it on the auto settings, all the way down to the left. See if it renders okay. If it does, you may want to use trial and error to see at what point you are getting a failure. P6SR1 is a good product. Don't sweat. There are people here to help! ;-)
