I have Poser 6 plus all the patches running on a 3.4 gig Pentium with a 128 Radeon PCI express. Windows XP Home. I have 2 gigs of PC3200 (400) RAM and Poser has it's own hard drive at 250 gigs. I turn off everything in the sys tray, and I still get "Out of Memory" errors when I try to render in production. Some hair looks nasty if texture filtering is not turned on. Now, out of memory errors would be tolerable if, when I get them, Poser 6 would not destroy the PZ3 file. It just wipes it blank!! I have heard other people have had this problem as well. Also, I have found Norton products to cause problems with other programs way back in the DOS days. I use the free AVG and it catches all the viruses. The new owners of Curious Labs need to release a memory fix.
