He He such fun! My theory is the same as TobinLam I believe you can just make out a very slight tonal difference on the original RAW file. This must be highlighted with the curve adjustment in the toning. I can confirm that all the images are from the same original RAW file, no other elements are present no selections were made. In basic terms I duplicated layer, convert to B&W with channel mixer, added a tonal curve (courtesy of Donald) merge visible duplicate again soften selected areas and flatten. Resize and frame then upload. The thumb was from the full size before resizing. The resizing may also have had an effect, as on the large p/w file it is barely visible. Thanks for all your input, at least we all may learn something, I have. Anyway I have pulled a muscle in my back (painful) so may not be able to reply for a while. Too uncomfortable to muck about with PS lol (that must be bad) Maybe one of lifs odditys! Simon
