I took a picture of this strange looking crane or heron with the fluffy collar, standing on one leg, (him not me..LOL) and was really hoping it would come out. I took it with my Pentax Optio MX4 and had to zoom in a long ways to try to get the picture. I took about 15 of them but on every single one, his white head took too much light and there is no detail in it. :-( Most of the time I have my cam on auto focus but I think I could maybe have made some adjustments to get the bird to come out better. Can you or anyone suggest some settings for me? :-) ~ maggie
