Converting by hand will give you the best results but it will take a day and half to do and you must know what you're doing.
The best way to autoconvert is Wardrobe Wizard, no contest. I have Tailor, Clothing Converter 1, Auto Group, and Quick Conform. Wardrobe Wizard works right inside Poser, gets the job done in seconds, and you don't have to know a thing. Just two clicks and you're done. WW also has advanced options for conversions ro retain morphs and body handles.
It speaks for itself. Try the demo.
The original demo had inflate/deflate issues in P6. It wasn't WW's fault, there were bugs in P6. Kam and Phil sent a bug report to eFrontier, and P6's SR1 has fixes. Plus Kam came up with a work-around to the P6 python issues in the Mac. So try the latest demo and see if it works for you.
PhilC has a forum on his website now. Phil and Kam do excellent tech support.
Speaking for myself, it's much faster to work inside Poser than having to boot up another program, and WW cross platform too, as a Mac user, I love that!
Sure you don't have to buy WW. But if you have many figures, a limited budget, and the average clothing item is $10, all you need to do is 6 conversions and WW has paid for itself. Everything after that is cost savings.
