Couldn't you cheat? Do a render with the gloves on. Then a render without the gloves on. Then use your graphic program to crop the part of the arm you want, and overlay it onto the image with the glove? I do that all of the time to fix clothing that pokes through skin, or props that I can't fully position properly and they dig into the skin when I have the angle the way I want it. Sometimes you need to smudge in the edges, but if you magnify enough and work with the right opacity, density and hardness, the edges aren't noticable at all. I'm off to get my foot xrayed.
