Thanks for all your replies. I appreciate it! It seems that most of the images I have saved so far are called Bryce5 Object Preset [obp?] files and a few are Bryce5 scene files. Try as I may when I go to import..they just don't show! No idea what I have done wrong...a setting somewhere maybe? I did manage to render a few basic shapes and give them that high shine feel which is great but that seems to be all I can do right now. Thanks too for the tut links - off to check them out next. all help is very much appreciated - what a friendly forum! hugz
