Yes I did a complete reinstall of Vue and went back to Version 5.07-02 Build 277255 of which I am using now. I will be gone 3-4 days so when get back will experiment some with xfrog and the new update. I hope they get this fixed because I use xfrog a lot in my scenes. :) To use workarounds only prolongs the problem and it never gets fixed. If other applications can use the tifs so should Vue. :)
