Also, I bring my xfrog trees in as .3ds. For the leaves, I do the same as I posted before. Just go into the material editor on the leaves and reload the .tif. I get a message saying that there is alpha material and do I want to use it as a transparency. I say yes and I have my xfrog tree. Don't have to go into a paint program.
