Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 1:45 am)
I came across the same issue. You have to read the README file to determine where stuff goes. I agree that add-on's for Poser are a PIA. It's not a simple process. Even the packages that claim to be "ultra real" are far from it without lots of seat-time experimenting. The lesson I learned with Poser 4 a few years ago (after dropping $500) is not to purchase too much too quick.

Hello, I am a new P6 user learning to work the program. A frustration is that external characters and files are not easy to install. Seems everything is dumped into a download file and then it is left to me to divide the various files types into other folders in the library. I bought many products from this site and am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to use them. It is a daunting process to learn. The Poser manual and a new P6 book I bought offer little advice. Does anyone know of a tutorial that helps define and dissect the runtime hierarchy of files? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, seattletim
