If you're on Poser 5, the limit is 100 by default, but can be changed.

Exit from Poser, and open RuntimeprefsLibraryPrefs.xml in a text editor (not a word processor).

Find this line:

LibraryPreferences curFolder="0" previewNum="100" (it's in angle brackets, but I can't use them here.)

Change the 100 to a larger figure, save and restart.

In Poser 6, this behaviour can be changed in the preferences dialogue > library tab.
