I'd advise Edit Pad Lite (free) to open them. Notepad can't handle carriage returns. As far as editing goes, they're not like poser files where almost anyone can do it. I had to shout for rob W's help a few times, but I can now do quite a few useful hacks. mac PS The idea of DAZ abandoning poser products is almost as ludicrous as the DS vs P6 topic.
