It's a bit like the idea of a supermarket that would only sell generics rather than major brand names. There's no reason that both types of product can't co-exist side by side, and to take the analogy a stage further at least Daz don't have to worry about physical shelf space, their store can be as big as they want. If there's a profit to be turned from a product then why not stock it?
