Maybe they just thought it looked better. They seemed concerned with making sure James' clothing still fit, but probably didn't think about the morphs. Transferring morphs is probably not something the average Poser user does, anyway.

Bet they (or someone) will be selling head and body morph packs for Koji. Eventually.
