Are you talking on "make movie" or for internet streaming? For make movie, I always use uncompressed. For streaming, the MS mpeg4 is the best quality I've found, and uses the nice standard Windows Media Player. While Mpeg 4 and Real 8 are much better than QuickTime's sorenson, the one area QT still stands out heads and shoulders is in fraame by frame navigation of the movie. If you want your uses to be able to examine the movie frame by frame, use QT.
