I made this animated GIF by making a still GIF for each frame and text-editing them together according to the GIF format. I wrote an EMACS-type text editor that can handle CR and LF and ascii-null correctly and thus I can trust it with binary files. It is a diver with a Salvus rebreather, as downloadable at this link.
