My family and I happen to be one of the families that were in the path of Rita. Unfortunately, our lives are forever changed. The news and papers claim it wasn't bad, but they are very WRONG. The hurricane took our home and jobs. It has forced us to relocate and now have very little of what we once had. Our lives were spared and things can be replaced, but imagine, your life is stable, and then everything you worked for, everything you made, gone, destroyed. You now have to start over, with barely anything you worked so hard for and those around you hear that it wasn't that bad, so they bawk at helping. For those who have lost, for those who have cried, I understand, for though I can not help, I stand beside you, trying to carry on in the face of adversity.
