Let clarify things a bit. Are we discussing making textures for pre-existing models or are you looking to start from scratch? xantor's post seems, on the surface, a bit abrupt, but, in the larger scheme of things it's really not.. The first thing a newbie to Poser wants to do is "make cloths" and want s a tutorial to do that. The real problem lies in the fact that this really involved several disciplines. First you need to learn how to use a 3d modeling program, I use Carrara and have worked with it through 4 versions and with RayDream before that, say 7-8 years. After that time I feel I'm just becoming "good" enough to produce some quality models. Choose your modeling program and pick up one of the many instruction books to see how much work is involved in that area. Then there is the "poserizing" elements. Again that is much more complicated than it seems. For some ideas as to what that takes pick up a copy of "Secrets of Figure Creation with Poser5". Also cruise through the threads here and at places like Poser Pros. That element itself takes much time to master. Using myself as an example again, I've been working on Poser models almost as long as I've been working in 3d. Again I also feel that I'm just catching on to many of the inside tricks. Now, I'm sure that there are many people that can learn faster than i can! But constant requests of "a tutorial" on making cloths tends to start bringing out the short answers. All of that said... give us a little background on what you know, tell us what experience level your at and we might be able to start pointing you in a direction. Do you have a preferred modeling program? If so, have you looked in the forum for that program? Can you make a static figure of the clothing you want (if so you have already made your first dynamic clothing ;> ). Do you want to know how to make it conforming? In other words, help us, help you! mike P.S. to show you MY level of work here is a shot of a freebie set I'm working on for Blackhearted's Girl Next Door 2 morph for V3. I've been working on the Joint Parameters for the jeans for about a week now and I'm just getting ready to make the necessary "adjustment" morphs to correct some problems in the knees...
