You can get that level of realism from within Poser, but it requires a few things.
Your render settings should be set to production, there are probably other tweaks, but I'm not well versed in optimizing the render settings, since default generally worked for me.
You need a high-quality, photo-realistic skin texture for the character. Most of those kinds of textures are little more than photographs of actual skin put together for that character.
Lighting also plays a big part in a good render, more than some people would think. You could set up a product from the MP exactly like in one of the promos, but if your lighting isn't the same, it won't look as good.
