I just thought of some alternate type figures you could use: How about a cute monkey? I'm assuming that you are using those little conversation balloons, so the monkey could be talking to kids. Check Daz for their "Toonimals". There is an adorable Greko there that might work. All kids like lizards. Daz also has a little dragon that is cartoon-like. Or a Lamb Whatever you choose could be your "mascot" and "spokes-figure". You might even branch it off further and if you do speaking engagements in schools, have someone dressed up as this critter. Kids relate well to furries. Just some of my thoughts on the issue.
