Thanks.I know the poly's don't disappear unless you do something to the model.Wasn't quite what I meant. It may be a texture thing since it is apparent on hair, but I couldn't be sure about the mesh welding. However, I did an import of the daz fairie and the legs thru clothing looks too geometric. Here is a pic of an example. Thanks for the link I was aware of that program. I meant organic texturing and modeling in general, as opposed to architextural and mechanical. In this example the diff between a tail looking like a tail and a tube of toothpaste or paper. This may be a transparency texture issue. This is daz milhorse from daz1 to obj to carrara.(DAZ is awkward in some areas to me...particularly lighting.) In Vue trial which is what I have for now I end up with similiar blocky appearance when importing obj.
