This is the difference between normal light and one with soft shadows. Used here was a single radial with soft shadows set to 45. If you use soft shadows, I would suggest you go with not using an increased render setting ("Super"), just leave it at "Regular". As soft shadows AND an increased render setting, even at 4rpp, is asking for a slow render death. AS
