Nice Dog Terri, It took me quite a while to learn to use the vertex modeler. Two things that help me are 1) keep it simple until you have the basic shape that you want and 2)if the model is symmetrical model one side and then duplicate it with symmetry and weld the seams together. I know what you mean about being pumped up when things finally fall into place. I'm glad we have this forum to express our feelings when things go right. I've tried to explain my 3D successes to friends and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
